Reimagining future ways of living through design foresight and collective voices requires an approach that anticipates emerging needs, challenges existing assumptions, and explores new possibilities for how people live, work, and connect. This includes envisioning future housing models and urban living scenarios that are adaptable, inclusive, and responsive to changing lifestyles, as well as exploring climate resilience and adaptive reuse strategies that enable communities and existing spaces to evolve sustainably. Engaging youth, citizens, and diverse communities through participatory design can bring lived experiences and collective perspectives into the design process, fostering greater relevance, ownership, and social connection. Speculative and visionary design thinking can further inspire new possibilities by imagining alternative futures, provoking dialogue, and encouraging innovative approaches to the built environment and everyday living.

Lin Wei
Founder
United Design Practice
Lin Wei is a Singaporean designer, educator and founder of United Design Practice, a transdisciplinary studio working across interiors, architecture, brand and experience design. Over more than two decades in Singapore and China, he has developed a practice grounded in the belief that design can shape not only spaces, but relationships, behaviours and systems. His work has received over 40 international design awards, and he serves as a juror and speaker across the design industry. An adjunct lecturer at SUTD and NYP, Lin Wei brings practice, pedagogy and systems thinking together to create environments that are thoughtful, purposeful and human.
Jevon Chandra
Founder
Independent Artist and Futurist
Jevon Chandra is an independent artist and futurist, co-lead of the art collective Brack, and was previously with the Centre for Strategic Futures in the Prime Minister’s Office.
His transdisciplinary practice spans research, facilitation, and design, resulting in outputs across different forms. He has worked on three books, composed music for the Singapore Pavilion at World Expo Osaka, and exhibited at National Gallery Singapore (NGS) as the inaugural Calm Room Artist-in-Residence.
Across his projects, Jevon cares about bringing stories and possibilities into view. Through art and foresight, he seeks to estrange the familiar, nudging us to encounter this complex and uncertain world more kindly, curiously, and expansively.

DP Design Pte Ltd
Allan is an interior designer with experience shaping the built environment. Graduated from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, he joined DP Architects in 2008 and has since developed an interdisciplinary approach with award winning portfolio spanning hospitality, workplace and institutional design. His philosophy centers on creating spaces that encourages genuine community, work harmoniously with nature, and are designed to endure. This is expressed through contextual responses, integrated green systems and adaptable design strategies that evolve with changing needs. An accredited member of the Singapore Interior Design Society, he contributes to industry forums and academia.

Matthias is a design professional and educator whose 25-year career spans practice, pedagogy, and policy. Trained in Interior Architecture & Design and holding a Master of Design degree, he integrates hands-on industry practice, extensive design education across design institutions and policy insights.
Through his leadership in futures design studio frameworks, Matthias explores how human interaction, emerging technology, and spatial environments intersect. He focuses on speculative design that moves beyond aesthetics to address sensory engagement, social connection, and adaptive living systems.
